My name is Rebecca Rampling and I am a freelance journalist who supplies stories to womens' magazines and national newspapers. I work with women day in day out who have been through horrific experiences but one of the worst and most cowardly crimes out there is date rape and sexual abuse.
Many women have been through this deeply disturbing ordeal but are too afraid to tell anyone about it. Sometimes a story in a magazine where the woman has got justice helps bring other victims forward. It also makes the vile perpetrators of these crimes more aware that women will not keep quiet about it any longer.
