My police hair strand test came back negative!! To your knowledge are there any date rape drugs that would escape being detected in the hair, because I feel like the police don't believe me!! The bloods & urine are negative and now the hair strand. I don't understand it because my memory was wiped and I was passed out for hours on two seperate days!! He had sex with me on many occasions which he admits but says it was consensual, and I didn't even know it happened. What type of drug would cause this?
Plus, because I had a spliff or two out there and a few glasses of Vodka, the police are trying to imply that the Cannabis must have been that strong & mixed with drink, caused this response! I know this is not true but I cant prove it..
What compounds all this is that the rapes happened in Amsterdam which is out of UK jurisdiction!!
Anyone help!! The CPS is about to make a decision any day now!!

Hi Wendy
The fact that the test sample has come back negative does not mean a drug was not used. The problem with forensic testing is that sometimes a drug will not show up due to the fact that the test cannot pick up a low, one off dosage of a drug, or that the sample was faulty in some way. Why not give Ben Leary (oure forensic expert) a ring, or drop him an e-mail. He'll be able to explain in greater detail.
